Maroon Group said it achieved EcoVadis silver level recognition for Corporate Social Responsibility.  In taking a proactive role in addressing corporate responsibility and sustainability in the global supply chain, Maroon Group was recognized for adopting international sustainable development standards.

EcoVadis is a global initiative addressing CSR and sustainability, covering 21 criteria including Environment, Fair Labor Practices, Ethics/Fair Business Practices, and Supply Chain.

The comprehensive CSR assessment reviewed several aspects of Maroon Group’s ISO certification and NACD Responsible Distribution program, as well as its corporate policies and procedures. EcoVadis’ mission is to make sustainability performance measurable, to make transparency a scalable and efficient process for both suppliers and customers, and to facilitate continuous improvement and innovation. The methodology for rating companies is built on the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, which covers 150 spend categories and 140 countries.
